Multi Factor Authentication requirements
From October 2024, all Microsoft Administration portals for Azure and Microsoft 365 will require Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for access, including the command-line interface (CLI).
What do I need to do?
By attending a course that uses Azure and/or Microsoft 365 administration portals, you may need to set up MFA to complete the course labs.
Before the course:
- Ensure you have a device (e.g. mobile phone) that supports MFA apps.
- Install Microsoft Authenticator (or similar MFA software) if you haven't already.
During the course:
- Your instructor will guide you through the MFA setup for lab access.
This requirement is in addition to any other technical prerequisites for your course.
